Olde Orléans Clothing Guild is committed to ensuring that oldeorleans.store is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We believe that heritage and craft belong to everyone, and that barrier-free access to the Guild is a standard we hold ourselves to — not a compliance checkbox.

Our Commitment

OOCG is actively working to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across oldeorleans.store. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including users who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice input.

Current Accessibility Features

—   Alt text applied to all product images and brand imagery

—   Sufficient colour contrast ratios across all text and background combinations

—   Clear and consistent page headings and reading order

—   Form labels and error messages that are descriptive and screen reader-friendly

—   No content that flashes more than three times per second

Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some third-party applications integrated into the OOCG storefront — including membership management, upsell tools, and review platforms — may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We actively work with our app partners to raise accessibility standards and will update this statement as improvements are made.
